I haven't traveled to America or Mongolia but have checked out a few imported examples and spent a lot of time together with my business partner adapting all the best ideas we have seen with a few of our own.

If I come on the Lermi trip I could probably bring a 5m diameter yurt.

I'm a skinny obnoxious hippy. Named Martin but mostly called 'other' names. I respond to neither.
Left school to race motorbikes. Found that i was great at crashing them. Lost my sponsor.
Joined a rock band-where i first met Jill. She used to buy me beer to go away. I pestered her often. Left rockbands due to lack of talent but love of drugs, beer and loose women.
Worked in technical theatre for a few years then decided to travel to 'find myself'. I found myself in india with no money left. Ended up getting to Majorca-nearest to england i could get from India with no money. Fell in love with the place and stayed for 18 months or so.
Ended up back in Uk as father got ill. Worked in the 'ornamental fish industry' for an eternity-pissed of everyone from suppliers to public aquariums. Discovered a few things too. Like how to cultivate soft corals and breeding of cleaner shrimps. Quit that due to unethical owners of public aquariums and wholesale fish farms.
Started to work for myself and be a road menace on whatever motorbike manufacturers made that would go faster than airplanes taking off. Got arrested.
Built water features, ponds and aquariums for the rich and shameless. Worked for Maff. Got drunk lots.
Reunited with Jill. She couldn't resist this time round
Travelled to OZ and learnt to train surf. Visited NZ-fell in love with the place. Moved here, married Jill. Then it was now.
Likes-nature, diving, photography, brewing english style ales.
Dislikes-liars, twats, fakes, arse lickers.

hey im Andrew,Originally from Nelson i now live in Auckland studying(video post production).

I started this whole diving shin-dig playing underwater hockey,i then got into scuba diving and started DMing for my mate, shortly after starting scuba i realised Breath-hold diving is what i really love and more so spearfishing.
nowdays however i more often take video or photos........

Ive dived all over NZ from stewart island, the chathams and everywhere in the top of the south right up to the hen and chicks and aldermens etc.

When im not diving my hobbies include Paragliding, caving, rock climbing and anything else exciting or beer related!.

Hi I'm Alan, once upon a time I was a pom but now I'm grown up (not what some would say) I'm a Kiwi. I did my first dives in 1973 after traveling around NZ surfing and often finding it flat and looking for something to do. I actually brought my first underwater camera to take surfing photos. Some of my friends started a dive club which led to me
getting CMAS certification and after a few years teaching it with others
through our local club. Used to do a bit of spearfishing and played underwater hockey (played in first NZ v Aust game, in which as I recall
we went down 15- 1). I eventually moved north about 25 years ago.
Currently I'm a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer but my main passion
is photography. Other interest are caving, motor racing, slot car racing
(which is why I'm accused of not growing up) Karaoke (I ran one for
about 9 years) and probably my other main passion marine biology.
I have a 28 year old son who can dive but does'nt, and whom I'm still
waiting to make me a grandfather. I try to dive at least once a week
and am as happy in 6m as 46m.
Another current project is trying to work out how to give myself an avatar
here????????????

hi guys

finally joined up
so here it goes
I am lets say mid 30 (wife always mentions that in actual fact i am over the 35 lol)
moved here form germany in 2001 ( need a change of scenery), took up diving in 2002,
got a bit involved with wreck diving when visiting the Michael Lermonotv in 2003, and realized that i wanted to do more b-time than what i had at that time
so got into rebreathers, stated to love them, than hated the unit, than loved it ... well this is an ongoing story.
However still into wrecks big time, try to get to thr rusty rusky once a year - so guys looking forward to the november trip.

in general looking to do some big dives, just coming back form teh cow shed did some 50 odd meteres for 60 min b-time - dont mind the hangtime.

Not yet trimix certified - but this will come in august or so.

always keen on getting wet - as my drysuite often floods :-)
so if anyone once to jump in to do some serious diving - i am in.

Have one wife at home, tow step kids, tow cats, and yes for a living i drill teeth ( and hate it :-( )

cheers
