Thanks Milky. Believe it or not those 2 nudi shots were taken about 500mm away with the camera in macro mode and full zoom. Its the only way I could eliminate a shadow from the flash and lens barrel.

I really need to sort my lighting out!

Myself and two mates are heading up Labour weekend to do a days diving at the Cavalli's and The Warrior. Still tossing up doing two days or just one.

Diving with Pive Paihia...

If Pive Paihia is Dive HQ Paihia then I would say do two days. They always do the first dive on the warrior, and one at one of the islands, which was very boring in comparison so best to do two days to get two warrior dives.

Location: on dry land...unfortunately
today has been sunny, with some showers (but warm). The weekend was meant to be thunder and crap - but it was stunning and awesome. The end of this week is meant to be shithouse again, so will probably be great.

Bottom line is that no one up here has any f*cking idea what the weather will be like (and the weather forecasters certainly don't) so just come up and do the dives! Paihia's not the worst place to be stuck in the rain at - plenty of watering holes.

It is a long weekend though so prepare for shite weather.

Enjoy the dives!
