...seems that the rules have finally changed, and the old octopus nooses can be upgraded to cray nooses ;)

Yeah. But I dont see it as a new rule just clarification of the old one.
Still will not use one though. Much prefer a fork.

No, the old rule was pretty specific - no lassoo allowed to catch cray. They just couldn't enforce it.

Yes. But a lasso is different to a noose. ;)
