Since I just rigged (actually Packhorse did it for me) my 2 brand new bottles to a manifold twin, will dive centre/resorts charge me double as if i am using independent doubles for airfill? or it is treated as one fill all the way?

Thanks for your input SODS.

Two tanks two fills one fill hose. Be prepared to pay for 2 fills. But you get to use more air form doubles than 2 single tanks.

Reason is you will always get back to the boat with 50 bar right ( yeah right).
But with double after the first dive you will have 100 + bar or so. Second dive you can drain them down to 25 bar and still have the same free volume of a single 12L @ 50 bar. SO you get (25 bar x 12x2) 600 free! ( how many minutes at 10 meters is that Milky?).

Oh and by the way Milky even though the manifold is called a 200bar Din manifold it is actually rated to 232 bar as are the tanks. Dont settle for anything less when you get them filled.

Thanks for the input. I am prepared to pay for 2 tanks. Honestly, I normally receive about 220 bar max on my single.

Tanks with Yoke valve can only be filled to 227bar or the rating of the tank/valve or which ever is less.
