It was good to see everyone out at Goat Island today

So it looks like the judging is going to be as controversial as the George W election count..

A few shots...

Most beasties in a single shot contender:

Baby octopus

...and the controversial bit: 3 speicies in one shot that aren't on the ProjectLocal web site, so don't count apparently!!!!!!!!!!!!! (the toys are about to leave the pram..)

The octi and long tailed ray were indeed from the second dive, and as such are not part of the competition count. How low do you think I'd stoop!

...oh, yeah, did you see the photo I took of the kingfish that buzzed me ;)

Cool shots Craig.

That Snapper looks like a monster. The one I saw was huge but it wasnt that one.

Yup have to agree, thank you Andy for planning an excellent day,we both enjoyed the dive and it was good meeting some of the crew at the barbie.

The shots are excellent all round but I have some questions -

1. Craig - you get shots as good as those and you worry about not having a flash diffuser?

2. Flipper - have you informed the navy that crays are gathering to invade?

3. Packhorse - I've heard of a trout pout but was the blue cod moving in for a kiss?

Looks like a great day, I wish I could have made it.

Maybe SODS could make this an annual trip/comp?
