I'm maybe heading up north again towards the end of the week (1.75hrs North of Auckland).

Was just wondering if there would be any point taking my dive gear and maybe doing a quick reccy of Jones Bay in order to get a few Scollies for the in-laws, or will the bay have been pillaged to buggery by now?

I'm limited to a shore dive as I still haven't managed to convince my better half that we really need a boat..

they are there, but be prepared for a surface swim of at least 200m (well thats how long it felt when I had to swim back)
